AI Forge Activation and Data Governance — Enterprise-Grade Microsoft 365 Copilot Foundation

AI Forge Activation and Data Governance is cubesys's enterprise-grade entry point to Microsoft 365 Copilot. It is aligned to the Microsoft AI Business Solutions solution area and built directly on Microsoft's published Secure-and-Govern Microsoft 365 Copilot blueprint: Remediate Oversharing, Set up Guardrails, Meet Regulations.

Every organisation needs Enterprise-Grade AI safety enabled . Microsoft 365 Copilot grounds on what users can already see — which means oversharing, EEEU exposure, broken permission inheritance and ownerless sites become AI risk overnight. Risk, legal and compliance teams want evidence that Copilot is governed before it scales. AI Forge Activation + Data Governance delivers that evidence using Microsoft's own tools — Microsoft Purview and SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM), which is included in Microsoft 365 Copilot — then activates Copilot on top of it.

Phase 1 — Discover & Posture (Week 1): cubesys runs the full AI Forge Activation Pack discovery and extends it with a SAM Content Management Assessment (oversized audiences, EEEU usage, broken inheritance, inappropriate sharing, inactive or ownerless sites), a Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) Data Risk Assessment for AI, a Compliance Manager improvement-actions review against AI regulatory requirements, a Responsible AI alignment check and the security baseline.

Phase 2 — Activate (Week 2): cubesys deploys SystemsAtlas as a Microsoft 365 Copilot agent. The activation step is identical to the standard AI Forge Activation Pack.

Phase 3 — Governance Extension (Weeks 3+, quoted): modular governance blocks delivered by cubesys consultants and aligned block-by-block to the Secure-and-Govern blueprint. Regulations & Audit Foundation covers Purview Compliance Manager (300+ regulations including AI regulatory requirements), Compliance Score tracking, Purview Data Lifecycle Management for Copilot interaction retention, Microsoft 365 Archive for inactive content and a Responsible AI register.

The blueprint's two-tier model is reflected in pricing and Microosft licensing alignment: customers without Purview suite receive the Foundational scope (Copilot + SAM + selected Purview controls); customers on Purview suite receive the Optimized scope (full DSPM, IRM and Compliance Manager coverage). cubesys confirms tier and selects the right blocks during scoping.

Deliverables: everything in the AI Forge Activation Pack, plus a Governance Scoping Plan with prioritised SAM, Microsoft Purview and Compliance Manager actions; a recommended modular governance roadmap; a Responsible AI alignment register; and the executed governance blocks the customer commissions.
