Cognity

Cognity (https://www.cognity.it) is an AI collaboration workspace for schools and universities. Students use AI inside the assignment, and every prompt, AI reply and revision is recorded, so teachers assess how the work was done instead of guessing from the finished text. It is an alternative to AI detection (https://www.cognity.it/ai-detection-alternatives) no probability scores, no student punished on a statistical guess.

[Create an assignment in one sentence]
A teacher types roughly what students should do. Cognity sets the subject, grade and project type and writes an analytic rubric for the teacher to review before publishing. Students join with a link and PIN, with no accounts or roster to set up. Cognity currently supports essay projects and Vibe-coding projects.

[An AI tutor that coaches, not completes]
Students work with Jello, the AI tutor, which asks questions and gives feedback but will not write the work for them. Teachers decide whether AI is on or off for each assignment.

[See the work while it happens]
The live view shows each student's AI conversation and draft in real time, flags AI misuse, and lets the teacher nudge a student who needs it.

[Grade the work and the process behind it]
The review screen shows where each passage came from: typed by the student, matching the AI tutor, or pasted in from elsewhere, next to the full conversation and a rubric.

[Built for schools]
Google sign-in (SSO), Google Classroom roster import and LTI 1.3. The interface is available in seven languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil) and Mongolian.
