Overview
IRiS is Lakehouse automation software built for modern cloud data platforms, using the power of the Data Vault 2.1 methodology.
Designed by Data Vault experts and trusted by enterprises, IRiS accelerates the delivery of Data Vault 2.1 architectures by eliminating manual scripting, automating code generation, and embedding best-practice standards into your data platform.
This offer deploys IRiS on a dedicated Azure Virtual Machine in your Azure subscription, giving you full control over infrastructure, networking, and security.
Built for modern cloud data platforms
IRiS streamlines the process of integrating data silos within a Lakehouse on Azure and works seamlessly with your existing environment with no re-tooling or re-platforming required.
IRiS supports Microsoft Fabric, as well as Snowflake and Databricks, and works alongside Microsoft Data Factory, Purview, Azure DevOps, and third-party data modeling, governance, and ETL tools.
This flexibility makes it easy to standardize and scale your Lakehouse delivery while reducing risk and accelerating time to value.
Licensing model – Bring Your Own License
This is a Bring Your Own License (BYOL) offer.
IRiS software licensing is not included with this offer.
Customers must obtain a valid IRiS license directly from IRiS before using the software.
This option is ideal for organizations that already have an IRiS license or prefer to manage IRiS licensing outside of Azure Marketplace.
Azure costs and Windows licensing
In addition to IRiS licensing, customers will incur standard Azure charges, including:
- Virtual machine compute
- Storage and networking
- Windows Server licensing
Customers with eligible Windows Server licenses and Software Assurance can enable Azure Hybrid Benefit to reduce Windows Server licensing costs.

This offer is intended for customers who:
- Already have an IRiS license or plan to purchase one directly from IRiS
- Prefer to manage IRiS licensing outside of Azure Marketplace
- Want to deploy IRiS into their own Azure subscription with full control
