CloudXtream Dynamic Ad Insertion

The CloudXtream™ Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) solution utilizes advanced adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming to deliver hyper-targeted ads to smartphones, PCs, tablets, connected TVs and virtually any other device that receives live or on-demand video programming.

• Built on xG AIM™ for manifest manipulation
• Utilizes xG ADS™ or SpotX for ad decisioning capabilities
• Provides a simple web user interface to administer DAI, including AIM, ADS and Ad Origin management
• Leverages Azure native resources for high-availability, load-balancing, and scalability with scale sets
• Optionally includes Ad Origin Service backed by Azure Blob (Object) Storage
• Integrates with Azure or an external content delivery network (CDN)

Preqrequisites

You must have the following in order to use CloudXtream™ DAI on Azure:

• An active Azure account with adequate quota limits
• An Azure Service Principal is required by DAI to communicate with Azure resources within the deployment for provisioning and scaling
• DAI license purchased and installed by Imagine Communications
