Item Configurator, part the Fenwick Gold suite, works with Dynamics 365 Business Central to provide more functionality with document processing.
Better production functionality for Business Central
This Azure-based processor is used to help facilitate the dynamic processing of Item Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routings on the fly.
This solution contains the Azure resources required to help facilitate the creation of your Business Central items and production plans.
Using your own instance of the processor will help you avoid any rate limits, and address any data residency, or data protection requirements.
Deployment Resources & Costs

Configuration options include:
- Consumption or Premium based deployment
- Zone redundancy options
After deployment
Once you successfully complete the deployment in your Azure Subscription you need to configure Item Configurator with the following:
- The name of the function app
- The function key which is used to authenticate the calls to your function
